The facility is currently rented to two companies for automobile transport logistics and online car sales. New, used and re-imported cars are temporarily stored, and sometimes sold, on the extensive site. The companies also prepare cars for onward transport or for sale. The companies also offer a range of services such as basic cleaning, dent and paint repair, tyre maintenance and foil wrapping. There are more than 2,000 parking spaces on the Reginawerk commercial and industrial estate.

The municipality of Emmering is located in the Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck, about 25 kilometres west of Munich. Emmering is an automotive logistics hub. On an area of approximately 150,000 square metres (and a total area of over 200,000 square metres), tens of thousands of vehicles are turned over every year. Emmering is optimally connected to the Munich metropolitan region as well as Stuttgart, Augsburg and Ingolstadt via the road network.

The Amper River flows through the middle of Emmering, a town of almost 7,000 inhabitants, and divides the community into two parts. The Hölzl landscape conservation area borders on Emmering. The local recreation area alongside the Amper River offers a wonderful natural landscape. The municipality of Emmering is located in tariff zone 2 of the Munich Transport and Tariff Association and is served by bus lines 763, 843 and 844. The nearest train stations are in Fürstenfeldbruck and Eichenau.
