He takes over the position from Dr. Oscar Kienzle, who resigned as planned on 10 February 2022 after ten years due to age.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Kienzle for his outstanding commitment over the past ten years. He has been a loyal chairman of the supervisory board for GIEAG and has shaped the company through his diverse experience and contacts in the real estate world. His always strategic but also calm far-sightedness for essential, entrepreneurial decisions were decisive for the success of the company. I am pleased that GIEAG and my family will remain on friendly terms with Dr. Kienzle,\u201d says Philipp Pferschy, CEO of GIEAG Immobilien AG. \u201cWith Prof. Ehrhardt we were able to win a very experienced real estate expert for the succession and we are looking forward to the cooperation!\u201d, adds Pferschy.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Christoph Ehrhardt looks back on more than 30 years of experience in leading positions in the real estate sector, 25 of which as a partner at Ernst &amp; Young (EY). For EY, he most recently held the position of Global Leader for Transaction Advisory Services at EY\u2019s Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction Group.
