The family-run and nationwide project developer GIEAG Immobilien AG (GIEAG) has successfully let a further 1,250 square metres in the GERLINGEN WORK property. With frechverlag, part of the Bertelsmann group of companies, a long-term tenant has been secured for the project at Dieselstraße 5 in Gerlingen near Stuttgart before the end of 2021. “The leased office space on the first floor was planned in close coordination with the tenant and also has an in-house library,” says Jürgen Gerst, managing director of the project company. This means that 85 % of the space is now let on a long-term basis.
The brokerage was carried out by our partner and lead broker, Immoraum GmbH, from Stuttgart.
“We are very pleased that frechverlag has chosen GERLINGEN WORK as the location for its move from Stuttgart to Gerlingen. The GERLINGEN WORK takes modern working environments into account and has very good connections. We always strive to provide our tenants with added value in the form of modern space with future-oriented benefits, while at the same time offering individualised solutions,” explains Philipp Pferschy, member of the GIEAG management board. “That is why we are very pleased that frechverlag will be able to make use of space tailored to its needs for its future work,” adds Pferschy.
Michael Zirn, Managing Director of frechverlag comments: “We are looking forward with great anticipation to the relocation of our publishing house to Gerlingen. With its space, the GERLINGEN WORK offers everything we will need for our publishing activities in the future. The premises offer us the opportunity to create a new working environment for our employees. We can thus position ourselves as a modern employer and are confident that we will increase the satisfaction of our employees.”
