GIEAG’s second mainstay – besides our project development activities – lies in building up our own portfolio of properties. Our focus here is on residential properties that offer a particular, long-term potential through restructuring, revitalisation and repositioning. Our portfolio currently comprises around 500 residential units with an annual net rent return of approximately €1.6 million. GIEAG manages its portfolio properties on its own.

Leipheim Housing (near Ulm)

The Leipheim housing is situated in the former military airbase of Leipheim, to the east of Ulm. GIEAG acquired this property in 2009 and renovated the buildings in 2010. Our aim is to ensure that the value of the property and location increase in the long term, and that a large number of the apartments be retained in our investment portfolio long term.

Gaggenau I

Gaggenau is situated approx. 30 km south of Karlsruhe. The Gaggenau I portfolio consists of 15 buildings comprising 221 apartments. The centre of the town and the railway station are within walking distance. Attached to the buildings are three carports, 129 garages and 92 outside parking spaces.
